We really wanted to find an ethical breeder, who loved and cared for their dogs. It was important to us to have a dog with a good temperament and a pure bred line. We did our research, and came across Carolyn. Her authentic approach and long list of awards impressed us from the get go.

We met Carolyn in person before we decided to go with her and we are glad we did. Carolyn has a deep understanding of the dogs that she breeds and is extremely knowledgeable. We paid a deposit and waited for our pup to be born. Carolyn kept us informed throughout the process and sent us regular updates from how the Mum was doing, to how the pups were progessing with lots of photos. We picked up our pup at 10 weeks. Carolyn provided us with an amazing starter pack filled with lots of chew toys, food, detailed notes and paperwork required. We have kept in touch and still share photos almost 6 months on.

I purchased a Longhaired Standard puppy from Belcara Kennels when puppies were born in April 2020. I had daily updates and photos as the puppies grew. Once the puppies were 4 weeks old, I got to choose my little man (‘Rusty’).

Carolyn was very helpful in regards to information regarding the breed. When I picked up Rusty at 8 weeks old, I received a beautiful puppy pack and information booklet, Genetic Analysis Report and information for caring for ‘Rusty’. When I got him home dry food, mince, and plenty of toys photos of both parents and grandparents. ‘Rusty’ also had a bath and was beautiful and clean.

He is now 5 moths old and very healthy boy. At anytime I am in need of advise in caring for ‘Rusty’, Carolyn is more than happy to help. I would have no hesitation in recommending Belcara Kennels puppies – They are very good family dogs with extremely good temperaments, as I have my grandchildren come to visit and ‘Rusty’ loves to play with them! I  would love to purchase another in the future.

I picked up my dachshund puppy ‘Louie’ from Carolyn almost 3 years ago now, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Carolyn was terrific to deal with, being very communicative and provided plenty of advice about how to prepare, and care for him. Not only is ‘Louie’ very handsome, he has a wonderful personality, being a very happy boy with lots of human and dog friends in our neighbourhood. – This is also something people comment on frequently.

We still enjoy seeing Carolyn a couple of times a year when we can, so ‘Louie’ can get a groom and say “hello”.

Getting our darling boy ‘Artemis’ from Carolyn was an amazing experience. Carolyn is very knowledgeable and friendly, answering all our questions and providing above and beyond.

We knew straight away that we were in the right place, all of Carolyn’s dogs are beautifully natured. We never worried about our dogs health apart from the usual as Carolyn’s dogs are stunning and pictures of health.

I first got in contact with Carolyn in September 2020. She was helpful from the very start, I went onto her waiting list and was kept informed throughout the whole process from confirmed pregnancy to birth as well as ongoing pictures and updates on the puppies.

Carolyn organised all the details for our puppy to fly over to his new home to us in Tasmania, happily answered any questions I had, and we finally welcomed our beautiful baby boy ‘Ralph’. We waited almost a year from that first enquiry and it was 100% worth it.

From the moment he arrived we knew he was the perfect fit for our family. Carolyn has raised a beautiful healthy puppy with such a great temperament. We picked up our gorgeous puppy ‘Lando’ from Belcara Kennels in August 2022 and he has been such a delightful addition to our family. He has a lovely temperament (even complimented on by our vet!) and is wonderful with our two children.

From our first enquiry to Carolyn in late 2021 she kept us informed with the litters she had planned and provided plenty of photos and updates.
